„Gdziekolwiek zaangażowane są powietrze, przestrzenie i wymiary, precyzyjne studium i dobre wykonawstwo detali potwierdza wielkość architektury. Detal opowiada historię", cytuje Mario Frascari profesora Jeana Labatut. Za mistrza w tej dziedzinie uważany jest Carlo Scarpa, którego detale odgrywają pierwszorzędną rolę w interpretacji budynków. Artykuł ma ukazać podobne zabiegi we współczesnej architekturze berlińskiej - budynki, gdzie „detal snuje opowieść".

"Whatever the air spaces, areas and dimensions involved, it is the precise study and good execution of details which confirm architectural greatness. The detail tells the tale" Mario Frascari cites professor Jean Labatut. It's been said that the architecture of Carlo Scarpa shows the greatest admiration of details, allowing interpretation of their role in buildings' significations. The article is an attempt to find similar buildings in contemporary berlin architecture - buildings where "the detail tells the tale".
