Artykuł przedstawia zasadę działania, podstawowe parametry oraz charakterystyki prądowo-napięciowe organicznych tranzystorów polowych (OFET) oraz możliwości wykorzystania tych urządzeń jako czujników gazów. Przedstawiono zasadę działania czujników gazów wykorzystujących OFET, a także potencjalne możliwości aplikacyjne tych urządzeń. Praca przedstawia ponadto przegląd najnowszych doniesień literaturowych dotyczących organicznych tranzystorów polowych jako czujników gazów.
