EN

The article describes the currently used methods of protecting the surface of the Yankee cylinder. Its surface is critical to production output and creping quality. The latest thermal spraying technology used by leading paper machine manufacturers, i.e. Valmet (Valmet Infinikote Yankee Metallizing), Andritz (PrimeCoat Stratos) and Voith (TerraDry HC+) was described.
