The effectiveness of using improved low-density foamed explosive compositions with controlled explosive parameters for compacting structurally unstable loose soil has been theoretically substantiated and practically confirmed. Regularities in the distribution of the degree of soil compaction by explosive charges of industrial explosives and low-density local explosives, including foamed explosive compositions based on ammonium nitrate (AN) and treated with ultrasonic irradiation, have been established. This study addresses the current problem of scientific justification and practical implementation of the technological method for compacting structurally unstable loose soil.
