Heat load determination of boiler furnace chamber

The aim of the furnace chamber calculation is to determine the heat flux distribution transferred to water-walls tubes versus a furnace chamber height and the exhaust gas temperature at the furnace chamber outlet. In this paper a new construction of heat flux tubes for determining heat flux absorbed by membrane water-walls is presented. Flux tubes mounted at different levels work at similar conditions as water-walls tubes. The methodology of calculations of boilers furnace chambers using zone methods is presented. The results of calculations of the steam capacity 210 ×103 kg/h boiler furnace chamber using zone method are compared to the results obtained from measurement. The results of thermal load and gases temperature measurements along the combustion chamber height of the supercritical boiler will be compared with the results of computations.
