Current trends on the packaging market to short run printing production, and marketing’s need for personalization are the main factors pushing the industry to move from analogue to digital printing. High-speed digital printing machines for direct printing on corrugated board are a novelty in this branch. The article discusses the selected, digital systems for the ink jet printing on corrugated board, offered by the following companies: Barberan, Bobst, Durst, EFI, HP, SUN Automation Group and Xante.
