The benchmarking process can provide comparisons of the most important dimensions of intermodal transport performance and lays the foundations for performance improvement. POLCORRIDOR intermodal system will consist of two main sub-system: sea link between the Nordic Region and Poland, Blue Shuttle Train operated between two main hubs: Swinoujscie/Szczecin – Vienna. Therefore it is proposed that benchmarking analysis for competitive corridors will cover also those main sub-systems of intermodal connections.
