Abstrakty

Na podstawie przeglądu literatury oraz doniesień na stronach internetowych omówiono historię „dzikiego" i plantacyjnego kauczuku naturalnego, źródeł jego pozyskiwania oraz niektórych specyficznych wydarzeń i przedsięwzięć, a także cen. Niezależnie od ogólnej i lokalnej koniunktury ekonomicznej, zagrożeń potencjalnymi chorobami oraz zmieniającym się podejściem głównych jego producentów, kauczuk ten pozostanie nadal istotnym czynnikiem współdecydującym o przyszłości rynku elastomerów i przemysłu gumowego, a także motoryzacyjnego.

Based on review of literature and internet data, the history of wild and plantation natural rubber, its origin, sources of gain, including special events and moments, changes of its price over years as well are presented. Apart from development in world and local economy and in producer's countries, problems connected with its potential diseases, natural rubber will be very important factor influencing the future of elastomer's market and rubber industry, and automobile industry as well.
