This paper presents a supervision and measurement system for the closed-loop control of a sequcntial batch reactor (SBR) sewage treatment plant. A number of tcchnical aspeets have been pointed out that result from practical control and implementation of the aforementioned system. This type of system will serve the purpose of research tasks that potentially could lead to the optimization of functioning of the sewage treatment plant.
