PL

Podstawy koncepcji trwałego rozwoju zostały zarysowane na początku lat 80-tych XX wieku. Od tego momentu pojawiło się wiele nowych problemów i barier utrudniających jej praktyczne wdrożenie. Co za tym idzie nastąpiło rozszerzenie się odpowiedzialności za ich przezwyciężenie z wyłącznie państw narodowych, również na społeczeństwo i sektor przedsiębiorstw. Celem artykułu jest analiza ewolucji koncepcji trwałego rozwoju na przestrzeni historycznej, nakreślenie bieżących problemów oraz propozycji ich rozwiązania.

The roots of the idea of sustainable development were established at the beginning of the 80s of the 20th century. Since that time a lot of new problems and barriers to its practical implementation have occurred. What follows, there has been a transfer of responsibility for their solving from solely national states also to society and corporate sector. The goal of this study is to analyze the historical evolution of the concept of sustainable development, outline current challenges, and sketch propositions of their possible solutions.
