Artykuł zawiera przegląd technik destrukcji trudnoobrabialnych odpadów metodami elektrotermicznymi. Obok znanych i już wykorzystywanych metod wysokotemperaturowych, a zwłaszcza plazmowej i łukowej, wskazane zostały mniej znane metody średnio i niskotemperaturowe, a wśród nich i takie, w których ciepło nie jest najważniejszym czynnikiem w procesie.

The paper presents a review of destruction technology of hardly treated wastes by means of electro-heat methods. Besides known and used high temperature methods especially plasma or arc methods less known methods medium and law temperature among them as well such kinds which do not use heat as the most important element of the process are described.
