In the article presented below basic factors are suggested which cause increase in thermal losses due to infiltration of air, mainly wind. Air filtration between indoor and outdoor environment is affected by complex influence of a number of factors on air changes (aerodynamic effects of air flow passing around a building, height and density of the developed area, wind direction ... ). The article outlines the methodology of the aerodynamic quantification for the simplified reference building.
