Historia i powstanie Izraela oraz jego walka o utrwalenie państwowości stanowią ciągle źródło interesujących informacji na temat rozwoju współczesnej myśli wojskowej. Autor na podstawie ciekawych źródeł historycznych analizuje rozwój myśli operacyjnej w siłach zbrojnych Izraela. W podsumowaniu przedstawił główne kierunki rozwoju sił zbrojnych Izraela, które wynikają z wniosków i doświadczeń z prowadzonych wojen.

The history and origin of Israel and its fight for maintaining statehood are still the source of interesting information on the development of contemporary military thought. The author, on the basis of interesting historical sources, analyzes the development of operational thought in the Israeli armed forces. He further presents the main directions in the process of Israeli armed forces' development based on the experiences gathered during armed conflicts.
