Abstrakty

EN

Defence preparation of the population is a profoundly important task. The importance of security philosophy and military sociology in defence preparation of the population has been discussed in the article. The Academy of National Defence plays a special role in shaping the population’s defence consciousness as it improves factually and methodically the cadre of the Polish Armed Forces and civil servants of the state administration. The role and importance of these subjects, which take an important place in humanities and social and military life practice, are stressed in the academic education system. There have been described also those subjects which include, among others, the problems of security, war and peace, personal and structural security, sociological analysis of threats and the most important problems concerning army functioning in the society and in a democratic system.
