In recent years we have seen a gradual increase in demand for electricity due to the increasing number of customers connected to the network and a growing consumer demand for quality energy supply. The article addresses issues related to energy management in rural households and presents the advantages resulting from the emergence of a new type of energy producers, i.e. prosumers.
