The global production companies of today are exposed to increasingly stronger pressure to implement new technologies, improve quality and decrease production costs. All this is related to ensuring a proper technical condition of machines and devices. This article presents the results of an analysis of the impact of implementation of TPM at the rolling mill on work safety. The number of near misses and accidents was used as a measure of the safety level.
