Abstrakty

The types of models, used for research on dynamics of flow machines, are described in the paper. The processes in steam turbine are considered with regard to its discretisation. The general limitations in applying the different modelling approaches are determined. Lumped parameter model of large steam turbine and results of simulation of its transient performance are presented.
