Zasadniczym celem opracowania jest porównanie modeli biznesu funkcjonujących w polskich spółkach z sektora informatyka. W koncepcjach analizujących istotę modeli biznesu podkreśla się różnorodność interpretacji tego zagadnienia uzależnionej m.in. od perspektywy poziomu, na którym modele te są wdrażane i rozwijane. Istotność podjętego tematu wynika w głównej mierze ze znaczenia modeli biznesu w budowaniu przewag konkurencyjnych i kreowaniu wartości podmiotów gospodarczych. W tym obszarze przeprowadzone zostały badania empiryczne na podstawie raportów niefinansowych sporządzanych przez spółki notowane na Giełdzie Papierów Wartościowych w Warszawie z sektora informatyka.

The main objective of the study is to compare business models applied in Polish companies from the IT sector. Concepts analyzing the idea of business models emphasize the diversity of interpretations of this issue depending, among others, the perspective of the level at which these models are implemented and developed. The significance of this subject is mainly due to the importance of business models in building competitive advantages and creating the value of business entities. Empirical research was carried out on the basis of non-financial reports prepared by companies from the IT sector listed on Warsaw Stock Exchange.
