The article discusses factors connected with the stress corrosion cracking of ammonia storage tanks and presents the details of a welding technology ensuring the obtainment of the maximum service life of these tanks.
Omówiono czynniki związane z naprężeniowym pękaniem korozyjnym podczas eksploatacji zbiorników do przechowywania amoniaku. Przedstawiono szczegóły technologii spawania mające na celu zapewnienie maksymalnej trwałości tych zbiorników, metody zmniejszenia naprężeń spawalniczych w ich konstrukcji i nieniszczące metody pomiaru naprężeń własnych po odprężaniu konstrukcji.
