Tworzenie zintegrowanych systemów sterowania procesami w budynkach, to jeden z elementów projektowania zrównoważonego, mającego na celu maksymalizację efektywności energetycznej. Systemy te są obecnie powszechnie stosowane. Istnieje jednak potrzeba zrozumienia, na czym polega integracja poszczególnych podsystemów automatyki, jakie problemy występują oraz jak sam proces integracji wpływa na bezpieczeństwo i niezawodność działania całego systemu. Nietrudno sobie wyobrazić, jak ważne jest łączenie zintegrowanych systemów sterowania różnych producentów za pomocą ogólnie dostępnych protokołów komunikacyjnych przy jednoczesnym bezpiecznym funkcjonowaniu budynku, wyposażonego w system automatyki (eliminacja niepożądanych ingerencji osób nieuprawnionych). W artykule podzielono zintegrowane systemy sterowania na otwarte i zamknięte oraz pokazano, jaka jest możliwość integracji podsystemów automatyki na poszczególnych poziomach w globalnym systemie zarządzania budynkiem.

Creation of integrated process control systems for buildings is one of the elements of sustainable design. Integrated process control systems are created to maximize the energy efficiency of the buildings. These systems are now widely implemented. However there is a need to understand the philosophy of integration of the particular sub-systems, what kind of problems exist and how the integration process itself affects the safety and reliability of the whole system. Very important aspect of these systems is to design an „open” system which could combine the products coming for several producers. Such the „open” system shall allow implementation of widely used communication protocols and at the same time a safe operation of building equiped with a system of automation (including protection against unwanted tampering). This document describes the open and closed control systems and explains possiblities of integration of the automation subsystems at different levels in the overall building management system.
