PL

Osoby tymczasowo aresztowane lub skazane prawomocnym wyrokiem i odbywające karę pozbawienia wolności stanowią wyodrębnioną i relatywnie jednolitą kategorię społeczną, w której niezwykle często dochodzi do załamania dotychczasowych mechanizmów przystosowawczych skutkujących w rezultacie podejmowaniem aktów o charakterze samouszkodzeń. W pracy dokonano analizy połkniętych ciał obcych, biorąc pod uwagę takie parametry, jak: wielkość, kształt, umiejscowienia ciała obcego w przewodzie pokarmowym. Dodatkowo analizowano liczbę dokonanych połyków i wiek osadzonych.

Persons temporarily arrested or convicted and serving a sentence of imprisonment constitute a separate and relatively homogeneous social category, in which the hitherto adaptive mechanisms break down frequently, resulting in attempts of self-harm. The study analyzes the ingested foreign bodies, taking into account such parameters as the size, shape and location of the foreign body in the gastrointestinal tract. Additionally, the number of ingestions performed and the age of the inmates were analyzed.
