Prestigious project EUROSCAPES has integrated between 2010-2013 the branches professionals from 14 countries in the effort to develop an innovative methodology, leading to the coherent governance of the landscapes, which are characteristic for the urban and suburban areas of Europe, taking into account its local conditions and the principles of sustainable development. Toruń, as one of the partners of this project, with the help of the multi-national body of landscape architects, urban planners and experts from other branches, and also thanks to the efforts of many local and regional institutions, elaborated together a strategic document, called „The Landscape Management Plan”.
