Autor artykułu podejmuje próbę polemiki z prowokacyjnym tekstem Marka Sagoffa. Cytaty z definicji podstawowych pojęć używanych w nowoczesnej teorii ekonomicznej, których brak w tekście Sagoffa, pozwalają przeanalizować pozorne paradoksy i uzasadnić nowoczesną analizę ekonomiczną wartość dóbr środowiskowych.

The author of the article makes an attempt to polemicize with a somewhat provocative and stimulating text by Mark Sagoff. Quotation of the definitions of the main concepts used in the modern economic theory, which are missing in Sagoff’s text, allows to reanalyze the seeming paradoxes and to justify modern economic analysis of the value of environmental goods.
