W lutym br. ustanowiono kolejną wersję norm europejskich (EN 253, EN 448, EN 489 i EN 488) dotyczących rur i elementów preizolowanych konstrukcji zespolonej, przeznaczonych do budowy podziemnych, układanych bezpośrednio w gruncie sieci ciepłowniczych. Normy te w stosunku do norm ustanowionych w 1994 r. zawierają szereg bardzo interesujących i istotnych zmian, rozszerzeń, uzupełnień, poprawek oraz całkowicie nowych, bazujących na najnowszej wiedzy, wymagań technicznych. Zmiany wniesiono do wszystkich punktów normy, poczynając od spisu treści, poprzez punkty opisujące wymagania techniczne i metody badań własności aż po załączniki. W niniejszym artykule opisano najistotniejsze zmiany, które wydaje się, że powinny zainteresować producentów elementów systemu rur preizolowanych oraz projektantów i inwestorów. W niniejszym artykule opisane są przede wszystkim zmiany, poprawki i uzupełnienia wniesione do normy dotyczącej rur preizolowanych (norma EN 253: 2003), pozostałe trzy normy odnoszą się w większości swoich wymagań do EN 253 i zostały omówione tylko hasłowo.

In February 2003 a consecutive version of European Standards concerning pipes and preinsulated elements of combined construction, assigned for building of underground, located directly in soil district heating systems, was established (EN 253, EN 448, EN 489 and EN 488). These standards in comparison with standards established in 1994, include a lot of very interesting and significant changes, extensions, corrections and entirely new technical requirements, based on the newest knowledge. The changes were done in all points in standard, from table of contents through the points describing technical requirements, the methods of properties studies, to the appendix. This article describes the most significant changes, which should interest the producers of elements for preinsulated pipes systems, the designers and investors. This article contains the information concerning the changes and corrections done in the standard, which concerns the preinsulated pipes (EN 253: 2003), the rest three standards in most of their requirements concern the EN 253 and were described briefly.
