The article presents high tech fire control systems that allow fast and with great accuracy to define angles of elevation and of lead, gun (cannon) lead while shooting increasing at the same time the system's effectiveness and decreasing the time to prepare the first shot. The factors that influence the missile track (shell trajectory) and the probability of reaching the target have been discussed. Then a historical outline of the fire control systems was presented. The structure and principles of fire control system was shown in new state-of-the art modern tanks. The development directions of the modern fire control systems designed to be assembled in combat vehicles were drawn.
