This paper presents a method for solving Dynamic Vehicle Routing Problem using Genetic Algorithm running in a distributed architecture, designed originally as a partial fulfillment of the requirements for the MSc degree. Particular emphasis was placed in the optimization of transportation costs with respect to customer service time.
