The article on globalisation problems shows current and prominent examples of phenomena and international political events that are the consequence of the unification process of our contemporary world. The author describes the genesis and evolution of globalisation, including the analysis of its ideas and the most important characteristics and also the presentation of conditions and factors of new arising global international system. Treating globalisation as an advanced stage of modern civilisation development bears implications for the process of changes and revaluation in the approach towards contemporary, widely understood social reality, military reality including. Therefore the interest in globalisation, in the context of new aims, tasks and functions of the armed forces, is fully justified and useful for modern military theory and practice.
