In the article results of firing different one-layered ceramic layers (plates, balls) with small-calibre armour-piercing bullets AP with calibre 7.62 mm, 12.7 mm, 14.5 mm were presented. These layers were put on the stiff steel RHA foundation. Influence of ceramics and foundation thickness on protective ability of ceramics was shown.

W artykule przedstawiono wyniki ostrzału różnych jednowarstwowych warstw ceramicznych (płytki, kulki) małokalibrowymi pociskami przeciwpancernymi AP kalibru 7.62 mm, 12.7 mm, 14.5 mm. Warstwy te były umieszczane na sztywnym podłożu stalowym RHA. Pokazano wpływ grubości ceramiki i podłoża na zdolność ochronną ceramiki.
