Matrix oil —high-molecular colloidal natural system— is unconventional kind of raw material in carbonate deposits of gas-condensate fields. It is a mixture of hydrocarbon components of gas, condensate and petroleum series, including paraffin and oily components with non-hydrocarbon components (asphaltenes and resins). Matrix oil can be related to special type of oils, which has not yet realized or partially realized its oil-generating potential. Development problem of matrix oil is caused by its retention in carbonate-organic matrix due to the unique sorption capacity of high-molecular components matrix oil contained.
