PL

Tematyką proponowanej pracy jest analiza i ocena światowej wiedzy teoretycznej i doświadczeń związanych z projektowaniem ogrodów terapeutycznych w placówkach służby zdrowia W pierwszej części podjęto próbę wyjaśnienia pojęcia ogrodu terapeutycznego Opisano przegląd literatury dotyczącej badań nad terapeutyczną rolą krajobrazu. Wyszczególniono ogrody terapeutyczne specjalistyczne wykorzystywane w terapiach konkretnych, sprecyzowanych schorzeń. Opisano przykłady przyszpitalnych ogrodów terapeutycznych we Francji i Szwecji. Na końcu podjęto próbę oceny ogrodu terapeutycznego powstałego w Polsce przy Domu Pomocy Społecznej im. Jana Pawła II w Nasielsku w woj. mazowieckim oraz zaprezentowano wnioski.

This paper focuses on theory and practice of therapeutic landscape design in various healthcare facilities. The first part attempts to define healing and therapeutic gardens. It is followed by a review of research on therapeutic role of landscape. The therapeutic gardens specifically designed for different medical conditions are discussed, followed by examples from France and Sweden. A case study of therapeutic garden at Nursing Home in Nasielsk, Poland serves as a conclusion.
