The use of unspecific photostimulation of biological material with coherent light for more efficient treatment of waste water, organic wastes, reclamation of regions deteriorated by industry etc. has been initiated by the authors in 1975.Results of long-term interdisciplinary studies confirmed this working hypo-tesis. Laser biostimulation could increase efficiency of e.g. plants using hydrophytes (during periods of hypothermia), as well as accelerate formation of protective green areas alongside main roads. This method is also useful for increase biofuel production and also for higher crops of industrial plants. Therefore there are very useful for restructuring agriculture in contaminated areas and promotion sustainable development of industrial regions.
