The article defines the formal and technical conditions for the Polish Radio Broadcast to launch permanent digital broadcast in the T-DAB+ system. The current development of digital radio broadcast in particular European countries is discussed along with the essential opportunities and potential threats that the implementation of the T-DAB+ system entails.
