Medycyna nuklearna w weterynarii to dynamicznie rozwijająca się dziedzina, która wykorzystuje izotopy promieniotwórcze oraz zaawansowane techniki obrazowania do diagnostyki i leczenia zwierząt. Technologia ta otwiera nowe możliwości w opiece weterynaryjnej, umożliwiając precyzyjną ocenę funkcji narządów, wykrywanie chorób oraz monitorowanie skuteczności terapii. W niniejszym artykule przedstawiono ogólny przegląd zastosowań medycyny nuklearnej w weterynarii, omówiono główne techniki i przykłady ich wykorzystania oraz zarysowano przyszłe kierunki rozwoju tej dziedziny.

Nuclear medicine in veterinary medicine is a dynamically developing field that uses radioactive isotopes and advanced imaging techniques for the diagnosis and treatment of animals. The use of these technologies opens up new possibilities in veterinary care, enabling precise assessment of organ functions, detection of diseases and monitoring the effectiveness of therapy. In this article, it will be presented an overview of the applications of nuclear medicine in veterinary medicine, the main techniques and examples of their use, and outline future directions of development of this field.
