Artykuł dotyczy projektowania stołów o schematach statycznych swobodnie podpartych belek, wspornikowych i ramowych. Głównym jego celem jest ukazanie zależności pomiędzy formą a pracą konstrukcji tych mebli i tworzenie na tej podstawie niestereotypowych rozwiązań o ciekawych efektach wizualnych i niskim koszcie materiału. Publikacja może być źródłem inspiracji dla projektantów mebli i architektów.

The paper concerns designing tables with simply supported beam, cantilever and frame static schemes. The main purpose of the article is to present the relationship between form and structural behaviour of furniture and to create on this basis unique solutions with interesting visual effects and the lowest material cost. The publication can be a source of inspiration for furniture designers and architects.
