Cabinet furniture, namely the modular pieces of furniture that are usually industrially made of furniture boards, are to be assembled by the buyer. As an alternative to these modular pieces of furniture, the market offers custom-made furniture installations assembled by the professionals. A technically interesting element of cabinet furniture are the fittings: mass-produced, multi-element, standardized mechanical products made of steel, aluminium alloys and plastics. They are expected to have attractive look (to be either invisible or partially invisible), high technical quality (load-bearing capacity, possibility to disconnect, easy technology of using, possibility to connect various materials), and all of that – to be available at a low price.
