Purpose: The main purpose of the paper is to present the up to date status of Logistics 4.0 and to define its future challenges. Design/methodology/approach: The research methods used in the paper are literature studies and the case study method. Findings: Future challenges for Logistics 4.0 were determined. Originality/value: Results have theoretical, as well as practical implications for the management of Logistics 4.0.
