W artykule zostały przedstawione działania największych instytucji finansowych w zakresie realizacji założeń porozumienia paryskiego. Zasadniczym celem artykułu było ukazanie tendencji w finansowaniu górnictwa węgla przez międzynarodowe instytucje finansowe, wynikających z realizacji przez te instytucje założeń porozumienia paryskiego. Cel artykułu przełożył się na jego strukturę, obejmującą sześć części. We wstępie przedstawiono uzasadnienie podjęcia tematu oraz nakreślono omówioną tematykę. W kolejnych rozdziałach zaprezentowano genezę oraz założenia porozumienia paryskiego. Zidentyfikowano scenariusze realizacji założeń wspomnianego porozumienia oraz działania międzynarodowych instytucji finansowych. Dla porównania wskazano zakres inwestycji w czystą energię, jakie sa realizowane przez instytucje finansowe rezygnujące z finansowania górnictwa węglowego i energetyki opartej na nim.

In this article the activities of major global financial institutions on implemetation of Paris Agreement are shown. The aim of this paper is to present current tedencies in financing of coal minig by global finanial institutions as a result of iplementation of Paris Agreement by these institutions. The aim of the article defined it’s structure, containing six parts. In the introduction the substantiation of taking up the subject is presented and a brief introduction to the topics done. In the first chapter, the genesis and the aims of Paris Agreement are presented. In the second chapter, the possible scenarios of achieving the aims of Paris Agreement are shown. The third chapter describes the activities undertaken by global financial companies to achieve the goals of Paris Agreement. In fourth chapter investing in clean energy by global financial instisutions is described. The last part of the article is a summary.
