A subject of the article are comments to the history of the complex of St. Andrew's church and nuns of the order of St. Clare in Cracow, which are undoubtedly one of more important monuments of the past of Cracow Okół. The study was made on the basis of the notes from inventory works diary, preserved after thirty years not only as a set of information about work progress written from day to day, but also as a peculiar draft of the history of the ancient complex, going back nine hundred years ago, located in not fully recognized Cracow area, the important center of early medieval Małopolska capital - Polonia Minor. It is also a proof of then taken meditations and reflections connected with source registration to history of Polish culture researches. There are some important questions, which were asked many years ago in the above mentioned diary. We can try to search for at least a fragmentary answer to some of them. In spite of the enormity of new decisions connected with Polish building and architecture history and a great number of archaeological discoveries, all mysteries of ancient Capital of Poland - Cracow, haven't been solved.
