PL
W powszechnej świadomości radioaktywny gaz radon jest współodpowiedzialny za powstawanie chorób nowotworowych płuc. Jednak problem wpływu niewielkich stężeń radonu na ryzyko raka płuc od lat stanowi przedmiot wielu wnikliwych badań i sporów uczonych co do interpretacji otrzymywanych wyników. Z jednej strony występują zwolennicy hipotezy o liniowym bezprogowym wzroście ryzyka, a z drugiej strony zwolennicy koncepcji hormezy radiacyjnej. Czy możliwe jest znalezienie złotego środka pomiędzy tymi wzajemnie wykluczającymi się hipotezami?
