The results of research on Host Nation Support (HNS) prove the existence of other alternative developments in the area of preparing HNS. They are worth knowing as they are applied by part of NATO countries, they differ, however, from standard procedures of the Alliance. The best known example of such developments is NTC-Model (Guidelines of National Territorial Commanders to Conduct Host Nation Support). Relative simplicity of procedures and prospects of gaining economic profits allow recognising the NTC Model developments useful both for the host nation country as well as the sending one. However, remembering that AJP-4.5 publication is due to be corrected, it is worth remembering that NTC Model will not replace allied agreements signed earlier or binding NATO documents.
