Carried out studies of renovation of destroyed grass surfaces allow ed on stating that there are certain interdependence betw een sun-lit conditions, renovation m ethod and renovation effect in the first year after renovation m easures. On the contrary, the significant differences among surfaces seeded with Polish and foreign mixtures have not been stated. On sites on the eastern side of hedge (sites of the low estradiation intensity) on the average 1,8 times bigger turfing was obtained, whereas on the western side the improvement was stated only for full cultivation method were obtained. lmprovement of floristic composition was dependent from tree neamess. Higher share in sward „desirable grass” in conditions of bigger shadow (sites under willow) was obtained. The share of that group of plants increased over two times for full cultivation method and for interseeding over 53% in site I and 3 3% in site IV. The improvement of sward composition in sites located more far away from willow was obtained only for full cultivation method. The share of „desirable grasses” was only on the average 21% higher than before renovation measures performance. The better results of renovation were obtained with application full cultivation methods independently to site conditions. The interseeding method created better conditions seeded grasses only in the period of germination and starting growth.
