Use of digital image analysis methods to determining surface salinity

Abstrakty
The paper presents a method of determining the salinity on the monumental surfaces with special emphasis out on the wall paintings. For this purpose microscopic photographs of paintings were analyzed based on the author's program made in the Matlab environment. Basing on this analysis the level of surface salinity was obtained in percentages.
