This paper addresses the underrepresentation of the Podlaskie voivodeship’s architectural style in AI image generation tools. By generating images from 60 prompts featuring Podlaskie-specific terms and evaluating their alignment and quality, this study finds that SDXL models depict the region proficiently, with MidJourney achieving nearly 100% accuracy but only 70% quality. While cities are generally well-represented, small towns and villages are mostly lackluster in detail and with low accuracy. Generated visual representations consist of derelict and mismanaged structures with a generic Eastern-European housing architectural style.

Niniejszy artykuł porusza problem niedostatecznej reprezentacji stylu architektonicznego regionu Podlaskiego w narzędziach do generowania obrazów AI. Poprzez generowanie obrazów na podstawie 60 promptów zawierających terminy specyficzne dla Podlaskiego oraz ocenę ich zgodności i jakości, badanie wykazuje, że modele SDXL dość dobrze przedstawiają ten region, podczas gdy MidJourney osiąga niemal 100% dokładności, ale tylko 70% jakości. Miasta są względnie dobrze reprezentowane, natomiast małe miasteczka i wsie są w większości przedstawiane bez charakterystycznych cech oraz ze znaczącą niedokładnością. Generowane obrazy obejmują ilustracje zdegradowanych oraz zaniedbanych budynków w stylu architektonicznym pasującym do generycznej wschodnio-europejskiej zabudowy.
