Artykuł przedstawia pojęcie Przedsiębiorczości Technologicznej (PT), określa jej zakres oraz miejsce w całej gałęzi badań nad przedsiębiorczością. Wskazano na problemy w zdefiniowaniu tego zjawiska ze względu na jego wielowymiarowość. Omówiono propozycję modelu struktury PT, a także zdefiniowano pojęcia Przedsiębiorcy oraz Przedsiębiorstwa Technologicznego. Przedstawiono również argumenty dlaczego PT należy wyróżniać spośród innych typów przedsiębiorczości. Podkreślony został ogromny wpływ PT na rozwój gospodarki oraz konieczność specyficznego podejścia w kluczowych obszarach dla jej rozwoju.

The article presents the concept of Technology Entrepreneurship (TE), defines its scope and place in the field of researches about the entrepreneurship. Problems with defining TE are pointed out in that elaboration. The proposal of the model of TE framework is discussed. The definitions of Technology Entrepreneur and Enterprise are also included. Arguments why TE should be distinguished from other types of entrepreneurship are presented. The author has also underlined huge impact of TE on the country economy grow and the need for a specific approach in key areas affecting on TE development.
