The aim of this publication is to sum up the analysis of contemporary world armament production and describe new phenomena in its development. Therefore the basic development tendencies and perspectives of world market special production were defined in the article. The analysis of different international institutions materials and professional publications result in the fact that contemporary special production world market is characterised by growing competition among special production exporters, increasing market saturation in defence orders and another special production, growing requirements of importing countries in connection with special production economic and practical effectiveness and reliability, as well as widely use of offset. The sales of technologies, conducting direct investments in the defence sector, military technology logistic support and its after sale service grow intensively. Apparently, all special production deliveries will be conducted together with offset programs and their use will constantly expand in the nearest decade. Taking into consideration contemporary development and constant search of new technical -military cooperation forms in an international dimension, the end of national industrial-defensive complexes may be predicted. A perspective method to reach substantial profits on the armament market will become the modernisation of armament and military technology.
