Abstrakty
Effect of hydroxyl functionality of branched polyol component on PUR curing thermal effect. Three hyperbranched polyglycerols of different structure and functionality were used as polyol components of polyurethane wood adhesives. Thermal effect of cross-linking with PMDI was investigated by means of DSC. It was shown that thermal effect was more affected by hydroxyl functionality than by benzyl substituents that remain inert upon curing.
