The article presents in short another approach to diagnostics of high power transformers – systems based on on-line monitoring. Classic diagnostic methods are often quite troublesome in use and they require a long time to develop the results. On-line monitoring is faster, however, diagnostic systems have to process and interpret correctly a very large amount of data.
