The article presents basic problems concerning transformations in military reconnaissance system resulting from the necessity to adapt to NATO standards. The integrated reconnaissance system makes one the pillars of the whole national defence system functioning. Hence there results the necessity to adapt planning procedures of our land forces reconnaissance operations to NATO binding principles. The problem is crucial due to the fact that the number of units scheduled for operations in the structures of NATO multinational forces and for participation in UN-led peace missions increases. The technical and procedural integration of military reconnaissance system has been discussed in the article.
