W oparciu o dane literaturowe, w pierwszej części artykułu autor omawia wartości przyspieszeń występujących w początkowej fazie ruchu pieszych, istotnej dla możliwości rozpoznania przez kierujących stanu zagrożenia wynikającego z obecności pieszego. Druga część artykułu jest przyczynkiem do zbioru danych, zawierających prędkości pieszych poruszających się w różnych warunkach.

Based on literature data, in the first part of the article, the author discusses values of acceleration occurring in the initial phase of pedestrian movement – this initial phase is significant for drivers in terms of the possibility of recognising a threat resulting from the presence of a pedestrian. The second part of the article is a contribution to the collection of data on the speed of pedestrians moving in various conditions.
