Anna Biedrzycka talks to Ryszard Langer, president of the board of Municipal Holding of Kraków SA. At the moment, there are six municipal waste incineration plants in construction in Poland, but the Thermal Waste Treatment Plant in Kraków will be larest, capable of disposing of over 114 tons of waste per hour on each of the two independent process lines. Annually, the plant's capacity will be 220 thousand tons of waste, and energy recovery from the waste will generate ca. 65 thousand MWh of electric power and ca. 280 thousand MWh of heat power.
